Trash To Treasure
This Saturday Penn State and the Centre County United Way,
along with hundreds of volunteers, will join forces to stage the ninth
annual Trash to Treasure sale. Unbelievable selection and prices, featuring rugs, furniture, clothes,
electronics, housewares and more. Last year 63.4 tons of items were sold to the community, grossing over
$62,680 for the Centre County United Way. 7:30 am - 9:00 am, $5 early bird

Irish Pub Will Replace Hooters by Adam Smeltz
A Kildare's Irish Pub is slated to open at 538 E. College Ave. by late
August, replacing the Hooters restaurant that had been there. Other Kildare's pubs are on track to open near Ohio State, Notre Dame
