Downtown State College will come alive with music Saturday! more than 20 artists from all musical genres will be performing all day on 3 outdoor stages located on Allen Street, Calder Way and Hiester Street. Come spend a summer day (9am - 9:30pm) listening to great music with friends and family. (see more info here)

Millions Raised for PSU Catholic Center; Paternos Named Honorary Co-Chairs by Adam Smeltz

More than $4 million in gifts and pledges have been raised for the Catholic student center planned for East Park Avenue in State College, The center is being planned by the Catholic Campus Ministry, a joint operation involving the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown and the Benedictine Community of St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe. Penn State football Coach Joe Paterno and his wife, Sue, an active community volunteer, are honorary co-chairs for the more here


Iconic Patio Dismantled at Pavilion Theatre by Adam Smeltz

The popular covered patio outside Penn State's Pavilion Theatre was dismantled late this spring, This summer, Penn State is putting about $300,000 into an improvement project on the site. By mid-August, a new patio will take shape more here

Saturday morning visit Tussey Mountain for a unique gathering of motorheads and automobile enthusiasts.  Drive whatever mode of transportation you are most proud of and show it off! This event takes place from 8am-10am on the last Saturday of each month this Summer. Admission is free and a delicious breakfast buffet available. (more info)
