Last Cruise

The annual Last Cruise & Motorcycle Show will be at the Boalsburg Military Museum grounds this  Saturday, July 24. This event draws more than 400 motor heads, car buffs and motorcycles to show off their impressive, tricked out cars and bikes. At 6 p.m. the cars and motorcycles at the Last Cruise car show in Boalsburg will head to downtown State College and go cruisin'  on College and Beaver avenues until 8 p.m. Enjoy the day in Boalsburg. Bring your appetite, family and friends and check out the fun! (more info)

2010 Summer Jazz Celebration

Bellefonte will be alive with music all day and through the evenings this Friday and Saturday as the 2010 Jazz Celebration comes to town. Music will be heard in many venues throughout the Borough of Bellefonte, including the national headquarters of the American Philatelic Society in the historic Match Factory, The Gamble Mill, Governor’s Pub, an outdoor stage on High Street and the Gazebo in Tallyrand Park. 'Persons of Interest' Sought In State College Arson by Adam Smeltz

State College police are trying to identify two men considered "persons of interest" in a downtown arson investigation, they announced Wednesday. The arson investigation involves the police vehicle that was torched early Sunday behind the State College borough municipal building, 243 S. Allen St., police said.....read more/see photos here

Fraser Center Construction Set to Begin in October by Greg Galiffa

After years of dormancy, the first developmental steps for the Fraser Centre Project were taken Monday as updates on the project were presented to the State College Borough Council.

VIETNAM Revisited

Visit this Living History bivouac (encampment) this weekend on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg, Centre County with re-enactors portraying the combat soldier of the Vietnam era in-country in Southeast Asia. Daily programs include accompanying squads on short range recon patrols and a tactical patrol ambush demonstration. (more info)
