Great Shows at BJC

There are some great shows coming to the Bryce Jordan Center in the next week. Starting Friday with Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  Next week legendary songwriter and recording artist Bob Dylan rolls into town to perform. If country music is your thing, make plans to see Carrie Underwood next Saturday. Be sure to keep an eye on our community calendar for other great events coming to the area. The Central Pennsylvania Regional Business & Industry Expo presented by 611 MRI/CT will be held Thursday, November 4, at the Bryce Jordan Center. This event will provide Chamber members the opportunity to promote their products and services to businesses and consumers from throughout the region. Free Clothing Drive

A Free Clothing Drive will be held at St. John Catholic School auditorium in Bellefonte, Saturday, November 6th from 10 am until 4:00pm or until supplies last. If you are in need of a winter coat or winter clothing, or know someone who is in need, please feel welcomed to come. A large assortment of clothing and winter jackets have been donated. (more)

ABC/ESPN2 will nationally televise the contest with Sean McDonough, Matt Millen and Heather Cox calling the action.

The Nittany Lions lead the series, 10-3, having won the last three meetings, including 34-13 last year in Evanston. The teams are meeting for the first time in Beaver Stadium since 2006. The squads will be in different Big Ten divisions starting in 2011, but are scheduled to meet the next two years.

Northwestern carries a six-game road winning streak to Penn State on Saturday after having posted victories over Iowa, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Rice, Minnesota and Indiana in its last six true road games.
