Traditional American Indian Powwow

The 8th Annual "New Faces of an Ancient People Traditional American Indian Powwow" will be held on April 2-3 at the Mount Nittany Middle School. A traditional American Indian powwow is a celebration of American Indian dance and culture. Doors, vendors, and native kitchen open at 11 a.m. both days. Dancers make their grand entry at noon and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and at noon on Sunday. Admission is free to the public. (more info)

Minerals Junior Education Day is fun and rewarding for students in grades 1-8 and their parents. They will learn about minerals, crystals, gems, and fossils. Starts at 9:00 am at the Earth & Engineering Sciences Building. Pre-registration is recommended. (more details)


YSB Spring Fling Rummage Sale

The 14th annual Spring Fling Rummage Sale to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters is this Saturday at the PSU Ag Arena. Early admittance: 7:30 am-8:00 am ($5). FREE admittance: 8:00am to 2:00 pm.  (more info)
