Blue-White Weekend

Are you ready for some football? The Blue-White Game  is next Saturday at Beaver Stadium. Admission and parking are FREE. There is plenty happening in conjunction with the game, including fireworks, a carnival, autograph sessions and MORE! The carnival will extend into Sunday this year and there will be a 5K Run/Family Fun Walk as well. Civil War Artillery Drill Weekend

A Civil War Era re-enactment group of the 3rd Pennsylvania Volunteers will encamp on the museum grounds of the Pennsylvania Military Museum next weekend (April 16-17) demonstrating the loading and firing of replica, period artillery pieces. (more info)

Spikes Spring Kick-Off

State College Spikes Spring Kick-Off is this Saturday from 11am-3pm at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. During the event enjoy free lunch from 11am-12pm, a kid’s carnival (inflatables, face painting and games), home run derby with a chance to win season tickets, and Ike’s baseball egg hunt. National Anthem tryouts will also be held at 11:30am. (more info)
