12th Annual Fall Festival
The Fall Festival this Saturday (10am-3pm) is filled with fun for the whole family, from alpacas to
pumpkins, carousels to pony rides - there's so much to do! Kids will
love to decorate pumpkins and visit a variety of activity booths
sponsored by various community organizations. And hay rides are fun for
the whole family! Don't forget to stop in at the Community Resources
Fair in the Municipal Building to see some of the amazing things we have
available in the Centre Region. And finish the day out by tasting some
of the best desserts in Happy Valley. Come down to

Centre Region Punt, Pass & Kick
CRPR along with the NFL and Pepsi invite youth age 6-15 to participate in Punt, Pass and Kick, the most well-known youth sports competition in the world. Hosted by Centre Region Parks & Recreation and the State College Jaycees. This Sunday, October 2 (rain or shine) at Holuba Hall on the Penn State Campus. FREE!
Registration opens at 11:30 AM; competition starts at 12 noon. Competition is open to Centre Region boys and girls ages 6-15.(more info)

The Indiana game will mark Penn State's 700th game since Joe Paterno joined the Nittany Lions' coaching staff in 1950. Paterno was an assistant coach for 16 seasons, was promoted to head coach in 1966 and is in his 46th season leading Penn State.
