Penn State Homecoming Weekend

This weekend is Penn State's Homecoming Weekend.  There are many events happening besides the game against Purdue Saturday at noon. Whether you are an alumnus, a student or just a PSU supporter, check out all  the Homecoming events and coverage.  Also, keep up with Penn State Football and all PSU Sports on the PSU Pages.

Fall Festivals

Way Fruit Farm - Way Fruit Farm continues their Fall Festival this Saturday. The Festival is a great time to come out with family or friends and take a free wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick just the pumpkin you want. There is also numerous other things to do, including an apple slingshot, more than a dozen crafters, a petting zoo and other activities to enjoy. (more info)


Penn State Horticulture Show

Saturday and Sunday inside the Snyder Agriculture Arena from 9am-6pm there will be a display of landscapes designed to give you relaxation and also an atmosphere for meditation. Seasonal produce will be available along with cider, mums, and both large and small plant material. All are welcome so please come enjoy the scenic tour and take a walk through their Relaxation & Meditation in a Landscape. (more info)

The Centre County Public Safety Training Center Kids Day this Saturday will have plenty of family fun activities. From 10am-4pm enjoy hay rides, fire and heavy equipment displays, bounce houses, and much more. (more info)

Penn State Gameday Notes

Penn State (5-1) vs Purdue (3-2)

When: Saturday, Oct. 15
Where: Beaver Stadium
Kickoff: Noon - Penn State Coverage

Penn State and Purdue are meeting for the first time since 2008. The Nittany Lions have a 10-3-1 series advantage, winning the last four meetings.

BTN will televise with Tom Hart, Derek Rackley, Lisa Byington.

Purdue is giving up an average of 275.3 yards of total offense to the opposition in its three wins and 451.5 in its two losses. The No. 25 Nittany Lions are coming off a strong 13-3 victory over Iowa last Saturday. The Boilermakers beat Minnesota, 45-17.
