Kick off the holiday season on Allen Street, next Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. with a free evening of carols, cookies and hot chocolate.  Come listen to Mrs. Claus read a story and welcome Santa as he arrives to light the tree.  Also, give the gift of giving by bringing a toy to donate to Toys for Tots or a canned good item for the State College Food Bank.  Children, ages 12 and under, who donate will be entered to win a chance to light the tree with Santa! WPSU Eventapolooza

Kids can stop by WPSU-TV for a dog-gone good time at WPSU’s Eventapalooza this Sunday (Nov. 13) in Innovation Park. PBS characters, The Cat in the Hat and Clifford the Big Red Dog, will be making special appearances throughout the day while you try “cat-astic” science experiments, make a craft, and meet real working-dog heroes along with other activities. Support local animal rescues and shelters by bringing a pet food donation to the event. (more info)

Veteran's Day

Remember to say thank you to a Veteran for the freedom you have this Friday (and everyday). We are lucky here to have a great Museum in Boalsburg. The Military Museum will be open Veteran's day and recounts the story of Commonwealth citizens who served our country in defense of the nation. Their service is highlighted through exhibits and artifacts that are documented by the museum's excellent collection of vehicles and small arms. Open Friday 10am-4pm. (Museum hours/fees)

Penn State Gameday Notes
