Last Cruise

The annual Last Cruise & Motorcycle Show will be at the Boalsburg Military Museum grounds this Saturday, July 28. This event draws more than 400 motor heads, car buffs and motorcycles to show off their impressive, tricked-out cars and bikes. At 6 p.m. the cars and motorcycles at the Last Cruise car show in Boalsburg will head to downtown State College and go cruisin'  on College and Beaver avenues until 8 p.m. Enjoy the day in Boalsburg. Bring your appetite, family and friends and check out the fun! (more info)

2012 Summer Jazz Celebration

Bellefonte will be alive with music all day and through the evenings this Friday and Saturday as the 2012 Jazz Celebration comes to town. Music will be heard in many venues throughout the Borough of Bellefonte, including the national headquarters of the American Philatelic Society in the historic Match Factory, The Gamble Mill, Cool Beans, Governor’s Pub, an outdoor stage on High Street and the Gazebo in Tallyrand Park. Not Worse Than Death: Before the Penn State brass signed off on the NCAA sanctions for its football program, head coach Bill O’Brien had two requests: Let there be football, and let there be televised football. (His plan)

State Farm: State Farm Insurance will no longer sponsor Penn State football. No radio or television ads will be aired during Nittany Lion home games and any banners and ads inside the stadium will be pulled. (read)
