Penn State Football Eve

Penn State Football Eve starts the festivities the night before the Nittany Lions' season opener and Coach Bill O'Brien's first game on the Penn State sidelines. There will be a festival-like atmosphere surrounding Beaver Stadium Friday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. pep rally inside the stadium with the team and O'Brien. Several Penn State head coaches are expected to participate in the Football Eve program. Admission and parking are free for Penn State Football Eve. The Nittany Lions' season opener is against Ohio Saturday at noon. (Penn State Football Page)

Crickfest

A fun and free festival for the whole family with all-new activities and old favorites at Crickfest this Sunday in Penns Valley! Enjoy live music, prepared local foods, and fun and educational activities. Crickfest is free and open to the public. All profits from Crickfest go to the PVCA's environmental education program in the Penns Valley Area School District. Some activities and events include a rubber ducky race, petting zoo, scavenger hunt, musical acts and storytelling. (more info)
