WWE Raw World Tour

The World's Largest Athlete, the SEVEN foot Big Show will face CM Punk for the WWE Championship THIS FRIDAY at the Bryce Jordan Center.  Also see Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara take on The Miz and Tensai in a RAW Tag Team Match. Tickets are still available and prices have been reduced in certain sections to $18.00 for the general public and $5.00 for students. (More info)

Centre Region Punt, Pass & Kick

CRPR along with the NFL, Pepsi and the State College Jaycees invite youth age 6-15 to participate in Punt, Pass and Kick, the most well-known youth sports competition in the world. Hosted by Centre Region Parks & Recreation and the State College Jaycees. Next Sunday, Sept. 30 (rain or shine) at the John Hess Softball Field Complex. FREE!
Registration opens at 11:30 AM; competition starts at 12 noon. Competition is open to Centre Region boys and girls ages 6-15. Entry forms available online. (more info)

What's the difference between a moth and a butterfly? Why do they fly by night? Find out the answers to these and all your questions about moths and other six-legged critters at Penn State's annual Great Insect Fair next Saturday. Some events include cockroach races, insect petting zoo, insect deli, bee observation hives and a Build-A-Bug competition. (more)

Penn State leads the series, 30-3-1 (7 wins vacated). PSU has won 36 consecutive games since 1943.

The Penn State-Temple game is an all-stadium Blue Out, with all fans encouraged to wear blue in support of PCAR and the victims of child sexual abuse.

On. Sept. 6, 1986, the Temple-Penn State game was the first-ever night game played at Beaver Stadium.
