Trick or Treat night in State College is officially on Wednesday the 31st from 6-8pm. There are plenty of Halloween-related events happening right through this weekend. Visit our Halloween Guide to view all sorts of spooky (and not so spooky) events. Remember you can always find out what is going on (and post your own events for free) at our Community Calendar!

Safe and Seen in the Ballpark

A brand-new family event called Safe & Seen in the Ballpark will take place on Sunday, October 28 from 3-6 p.m. at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, the home of the Spikes. This free admission event is designed for young trick-or-treaters and their parents and will include many fun activities for children and their families. There will be appearances by the Spike Mascots, ambulance tours, free inflatable and carnival games, crafts and much more. Children are invited to wear their favorite Halloween costume and bring their bag or bucket to be filled by area non-profit agencies or community supporters. (more info)

Philipsburg Harvest Fest

The Philipsburg Harvest Fest starts at 11:00am this Saturday. A Halloween Parade for all ages will assemble outside the Philipsburg Towers around 11:00am.  Then go trick or treating downtown, enjoy the Harvest Fair featuring local farmers and vendors and a party with free movie, popcorn, treats and more.  (more info)

Penn State (5-2) vs Ohio State (8-0)

When: Saturday, Oct. 27
Where: Beaver Stadium
Kickoff: 5:30pm - ESPN

While neither team will play in the Big Ten championship game, both are eligible to win the Leaders Division.

Ohio State is playing its 100th season in the Big Ten.

The Nittany Lions  are 5-5 vs. Ohio State in games played in State College. (13-13 overall)

All fans are encouraged to wear white for an all-stadium Penn State WhiteOut.
