Bill Welch Memorial Cartoon Series

Can you remember waking up to enjoy various characters on Saturday mornings? What could be better than snuggling up in the theatre for an hour and watching your Warner Brother’s favorites on the State Theatre big screen with state of the art projection and sound? It’s a different mix every Saturday, so show the younger generation what they’ve been missing! Every Saturday in December @ 10 am. Free Admission. (more info)

Festival of Trees

The annual Festival of Trees starts next Thursday (Dec. 6). This year the event will partner with the Bellefonte Victoria Christmas and will be held at CPI on Harrison Rd in Pleasant Gap. The auditorium at CPI will be turned into a Winter Wonderland for thousands of people to enjoy during a weekend-long celebration of the holiday season. Proceeds will help support the 37 Centre County United Way Partner Agencies. Live entertainment and craft vendors will also be on hand. (click for times and more info)

McGloin FInalist: Matt McGloin was never a fan of the term walk-on, but he has no problem being named a finalist for the Burlsworth Award, presented to the nation's most outstanding player who starter his career as a walk-on. (you can vote)

O'Brien Staying: "I plan on being the head football coach at Penn State," said O'Brien, under contract through 2020. "That's my plan, and that's what I intend to do." (tells radio station)

Student Felony: A Penn State student was arraigned on $10,000 unsecured bail on Tuesday on a felony charge of aggravated assault. (Police officer injured)
