Victorian Christmas Bellefonte

Take a trip over to Bellefonte this weekend for Victorian Christmas, one of the most beautiful and popular annual events in central Pennsylvania. You are invited to gather at the Bellefonte Elementary School to be greeted on the front steps by Mr. Dickens and candlelight carolers this Friday at 6:30 pm for Opening Ceremonies. Saturday and Sunday activities include a wonderful arts and crafts show, concerts, historic homes tour (Sat. only), model railroad exhibit, gingerbread house contest and display, horse-drawn buggy rides, Santa's house, breakfast with Santa, Victorian tea party, museum exhibits, food vendors, and much more! New this year, the Festival of Trees will be incorporated into the Victorian Christmas and be at CPI. (more info)

Other Interesting Events Community Calendar 

The Polar Express

The Polar Express leaves from Schlow Library this weekend and next. Families can hear the story read in the Children's Department and then ride the trolley through downtown to Santa's Workshop. If the Polar Express pre-registration sessions are full, please come to the library on the day of the event for walk-in registrations and they will register you for the next available session. There are reserved spots for walk-in registrations each day of the event. (more details)

Festival of Trees

The annual Festival of Trees starts Thursday. This year the event will partner with the Bellefonte Victoria Christmas and will be held at CPI on Harrison Rd in Pleasant Gap. The auditorium at CPI will be turned into a Winter Wonderland for thousands of people to enjoy during a weekend-long celebration of the holiday season. Proceeds will help support the 37 Centre County United Way Partner Agencies. Live entertainment and craft vendors will also be on hand. (click for times and more info)
