THON

This weekend (Feb. 15-17) the Bryce Jordan Center will be electric and awake for 48 straight hours as The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon-THON will once again (since 1977) be helping kids with cancer.  Each year THON has 15,000 volunteers, 700 dancers and to date, has raised more than $78 million for the fight against pediatric cancer, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Oscar Shorts 2013

The State Theatre will once again host the Oscar Shorts for 2013 starting this Friday. There are four separate films to see: Animated, Live Action, and two segments of Documentaries. They have scheduled each segment four times to be sure audiences have a chance to see each one. Don’t miss all four sections of this year’s Oscar Shorts. You can see all the dates and times here.
