Last Cruise

The annual Last Cruise Best of the Best Car Show will be this Sunday, Downtown State College on Allen Street. This event draws motor heads, car buffs and motorcycles to show off their impressive, tricked-out cars and bikes. In addition to a great car show, there will be free kids activities at Central Parklet and live entertainment featuring Your Dad's Friends. The Best of the Best Show will be from 1:00pm until 4:00pm and then cruise around Beaver and College avenues downtown State College until 6:00 pm. The State Theatre will also be playing two great 'Cruising' movies Sunday: Grease and American Graffiti. (more cruise info)

2013 Summer Jazz Celebration

Bellefonte will be alive with music all day and through the evenings this Friday and Saturday as the JazzPA Jazz Festival comes to town. Music will be heard in many venues throughout the Borough of Bellefonte, including the national headquarters of the American Philatelic Society in the historic Match Factory, Hofbrau, Governor’s Pub, an outdoor stage on High Street and the Gazebo in Tallyrand Park.  There will also be some performances in State College (find who and where here)

CRPR Day Camp Carnival

Come one come all, this Thursday (7/25) to the 47th Annual CRPR Day Camp Carnival from 6-8:00pm. Each year campers in the CRPR KIDVenture Camp programs help to design and run the carnival booths. At each booth, you can play all sorts of carnival games or pitches, and have a chance to win some great prizes! Free admission - then buy a pack of wooden nickets (needed to play the booth games).  (more info)

Note: For 2013, this CRPR Legacy Event has transitioned to a "peanut-free" zone. All are welcome!
