Penn State Fall Sports

Penn State football is taking center stage this weekend when they take on Kent State (3:30pm at Beaver Stadium), (Penn State Football page)but don't forget about the other PSU fall sports.  Women's volleyball, field hockey and men's and women's soccer have all started and ice hockey in the new Pegula Arena starts up in a few weeks. This weekend's highlights include the Women Volleyball PSU Classic and Men and Women soccer teams are in action at home as well.  You can find upcoming games on our community calendar, as well as, on our Penn State Sports page. Snow Shoe Fall Festival and Car Show

The Snow Shoe Annual Fall Festival and Car Show will be held this Saturday (September 21) at Snow Shoe Park. The Boy Scouts will hold a breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Along with the Bike and Car Show, there will also be craft and flea market vendors, live music, bingo, petting zoo, children's games and great food. The Golden Flashes fell at No. 8 LSU, 45-13, last week.

Christian Hackenberg was 21-of-28 for 262 yards, with one touchdown pass and no interceptions last week to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors for the second time.

Fans are encouraged to wear blue attire to support the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) for a BlueOut.
