Oktoberfest

The second annual Tussey Mountain OktoberFest will be an event unlike any other in Central Pennsylvania! bringing a few of your favorite parts of Germany's #1 Fall party, Oktoberfest, to Happy Valley... mainly the music, fun, food and beer! General admission is $12 and includes a plastic cup and drink of choice. VIP package is $50 and includes a large, festive mug and drink of choice, food buffet and comemerative t-shirt. Kids 12 and under FREE Admission. From 4-9pm Saturday at Tussey Mountain. (more info)

Centre Region Punt, Pass & Kick

The NFL, Pepsi and the CRPR invite youth age 6-15 to participate in Punt, Pass and Kick, the most well-known youth sports competition in the world. Held at he John Hess Softball Field Complex this Sunday, Sept. 29. FREE!

Registration opens at 11:30 AM; competition starts at 12 noon. Competition is open to Centre Region boys and girls ages 6-15. Register in advance online. (more info)

The Milesburg Museum and Historical Society Apple Harvest Festival & Car Show will be held this Saturday, September 28th on Market Street in Milesburg from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a luncheon stand, homemade baked goods, apple dumplings, crafts and demonstrations. (more info)
