Punkin' Chunkin' Festival

This year's festival at Bald Eagle State Park will be bifgger and better than ever.  More than 8 teams will be launching at least 124 pumpkins , some may fly over 2000 feet.Some teams have competed in the World Championships in Delaware. Also, there will be  80+ craft vendors, 20+ food vendors, live bands, hayrides, blacksmith and chainsaw carving demonstrations and Much More. Pumpkins will be launched at targets floating in the lake! Free admission and parking. Saturday 10am-5pm. (more info)

Centre County Public Safety Training Center Haunted House

The annual Safety Training Center Haunted House will start this Thursday and run through Saturday, (6:00-11pm). All proceeds from the Haunted House will benefit the Youth Service Bureau.
Note: not suited for small children. (more info)

Arboretum Pumpkin Festival

Hundreds of lighted jack-o'-lanterns will be displayed on the event lawn in The Arboretum at Penn State this Friday and Saturday night. Saturday there will also be crafts and storytelling from 4:00pm until dusk.  The jack o' lanterns will be lit from 6:00-9:00pm each night. (more info)
