2014 First Night State College

First Night State College will take over downtown Dec. 31. Large ice sculptures will be located in the 100 block of South Allen Street, while smaller one block sculptures will be located in Sidney Friedman Park, on the Municipal Building Plaza, and in front of sponsoring businesses and churches. First Night will feature musical and theatrical performances in downtown churches, carriage rides, a Grand Procession, indoor and outdoor resolution sculptures, and art workshops for young people downtown. First Night Ice Skating

Start off your family New Year's Eve up at the PSU Ice Rink.  Skating will be from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm. CATA Shuttles will run to the ice rink from College Avenue Downtown.  Button is required and can be purchased at rink. Skate rental is discounted to $1.75. (more info)
