A sure sign of Spring is almost here, Spikesfest! The Spikes annual free family festival known as 'Spikesfest' will be held this Sunday, February 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Penn State Multi-Sport Facility. Spikes fans of all ages will enjoy free autograph sessions, inflatable games, kids activities, video games, mascot appearances, performances by local entertainment groups, unique experiences, door prizes, ticket specials, and much more. Next weekend (Feb. 21-23) the Bryce Jordan Center will be electric and awake for 48 straight hours as The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon-THON will once again (since 1977) be helping kids with cancer. Each year THON has 15,000 volunteers, 700 dancers and to date, has raised more than $101 million for the fight against pediatric cancer, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
