This weekend (Feb. 21-23) the Bryce Jordan Center will be electric and awake for 48 straight hours as The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon-THON will once again (since 1977) be helping kids with cancer.  Each year THON has 15,000 volunteers, 700 dancers and to date, has raised more than $101 million for the fight against pediatric cancer, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Oscar Shorts 2014

The State Theatre will once again host the Oscar Shorts for 2014. There are five animated and 5 live action shorts to view. The theatrical release of The OSCAR® Nominated Short Films has met enthusiastic audiences ever since its launch 8 years ago giving people around the world an opportunity to see the nominated films prior to the OSCAR® Awards ceremony on March 2nd.
