Friends & Farmers Cooperative Event

Volunteer Fair

Looking for an opportunity to help our neighbors? A free volunteer fair for members of the public to learn about volunteer opportunities at exhibiting Greater Bellefonte community service organizations will be held this Saturday at Lambert Hall in Bellefonte. Family Events at BJC

There has been a steady stream of great concerts come through the area this winter, but family events are happening the next couple weeks at the BJC.  Next Wednesday (3/5) The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will take fan interaction to a new level when the 2014 “Fans Rule” World Tour comes to Bryce Jordan Center at 7:00pm. (more info) The week after that, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music in Sesame Street Live "Elmo Makes Music” at the Bryce Jordan Center on Tuesday, March 11 at 10:30am and 6:30pm. Community Spotlight

THON 2014 Sets New Record

THON is completed for another year and has raised $13.34 million (a new record) to help kids with cancer. This year's total broke a new record, beating the 2013 total. StateCollege,com is proud to have been a part of THON and congratulates all the dancers and others who helped raise money and organize the event. A nice recap video can be seen here.
