Maple Harvest Festival at Shaver's Creek

Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast and learn how the syrup is made this weekend at Shaver's Creek.  Shaver's Creek has held this annual festival since 1984 to celebrate the first harvest of the new year and help people learn about the maple sugaring process, both in colonial times and the present day. Activities include learning how to identify and tap maple trees, seeing the process of turning sap into syrup, hearing live music, seeing live birds of prey and, of course, eating all-you-can-eat pancakes and maple syrup.  (more info)
