11th Annual New Faces of an Ancient People Indian Powwow

The New Faces of an Ancient People Traditional American Indian Powow is this weekend (4/5-6) at the Mount Nittany Middle School.The powwow is free and open to the public and families are encouraged to attend. The powwow runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Grand Entry of Dancers begins at noon and is held again at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and only at noon on Sunday. The Powwow will end after this year. (more info)

Touch of Africa - The purpose of this event is to showcase and educate students, faculty, and community members about the diverse cultures in Africa. Touch of Africa gives a chance to experience Africa through food, music, dance, fashion, and art. (4/5 6pm BJC)

Are you ready for some football? The Blue-White Game, a great chance for football fans to get a look at the 2014 squad, is NEXT Saturday at Beaver Stadium. Admission and parking are FREE. There is plenty happening in conjunction with the game, including a carnival, autograph session and MORE!
