Last Cruise

The annual Last Cruise Best of the Best Car Show will be this Sunday, Downtown State College on Allen Street. This event draws motor heads, car buffs and motorcycles to show off their impressive, tricked-out cars and bikes. A true “Best of the Best” car show on Allen Street in downtown State College, participants are invited based on their success in other competition and the quality of their vehicles. Families can enjoy strolling amongst remarkable vehicles from times past and enjoy free activities for children as well. 1:00-4:00pm. (more cruise info)

2014 Summer Jazz Celebration

Bellefonte will be alive with music all day and through the evenings this Friday and Saturday as the JazzPA Jazz Festival comes to town. Music will be heard in many venues throughout the Borough of Bellefonte, including the national headquarters of the American Philatelic Society in the historic Match Factory, Hofbrau, Governor’s Pub, the Gamble Mill an outdoor stage on High Street and the Gazebo in Tallyrand Park.  There will also be some performances in State College. Pleasant Gap Fireman's Carnival

The Pleasant Gap Fireman's Carnival is this week, July 23 through Saturday July 26. Every night enjoy Chicken BBQ starting at 4:00, food stands are open by 6:00 and one Price ride wrist bands.  Parade is Thursday, lining up at 5:00pm. Fireworks Saturday and live music including Hybrid Ice Saturday night. (more info)
