Pennsylvania Organic FarmFest

FarmFest is a fun, FREE, community-building event this weekend, August 1-2, at the Centre County Grange Fair Grounds. New this year is the Sampling Barn, where attendees can try free samples of gourmet foods and beverages. Returning to FarmFest this year: Homemade & Homegrown Market, Family Arena with kids' activities, three stages with live music and performances, Organic Food Court, farming demos, homesteading and farming workshops, vendors, exhibitors, Silent Auction, 5K, Art Show and more! Admission is free and camping is available. (more info)


Pie Contest

While at Farm Fest, be sure to stop by the Friends & Farmers Food Co-Op pie contest. Attendees will taste and select the best pies for a $5 donation to the Co-Op. Better still, enter your favorite recipe at no charge. (more info)
