Penn State Fall Sports

Penn State football is taking center stage this weekend when they take on UCF bright and early Saturday morning at 8:30 am in Ireland. (coverage here)  You can follow Penn State Football on all season, but don't forget about the other PSU fall sports.  Pre-season top-ranked Women's volleyball, field hockey and men's and women's soccer have all started.  Check out top athletes and exciting games that the whole family can attend and enjoy.  You can find upcoming games on our community calendar, as well as, on our Penn State Sports page. Nittany Antique Machinery Show

The 40th Annual Fall Show will take place NEXT weekend (dawn til dusk) starting Thursday, Sept. 4 at Penn's Cave. With literally tons of tractors on display and dozens of activities, there will be plenty to do for all!  Some activities include, steam tractor pull on Friday and Saturday at dark, Mobile Ag Education science lab, apple cider pressing, antique tractors in operation, food, live entertainment  and crafts! Community Spotlight


A fun and free festival for the whole family with all-new activities and old favorites at Crickfest this Sunday (11am-6pm) in Penns Valley! Enjoy live music, prepared local foods, and fun and educational activities. Crickfest is free and open to the public. All profits from Crickfest go to the PVCA's environmental education program in the Penns Valley Area School District. Some activities and events include a rubber ducky race, petting zoo, scavenger hunt, musical acts and storytelling. (more info)

Penn State captured victories at Beaver Stadium in 2002 and 2004, however UCF won 34-31 at PSU last season.

The Croke Park Classic victor will receive the Dan Rooney Trophy.

With nine in a row, UCF has the third-longest active winning streak in the FBS.

UCF's defense failed to produce a touchdown last season.
