Penn State Fall Sports

Penn State football is taking center stage this weekend when they take on Northwestern for Homecoming. But don't forget about the other PSU fall sports.  Women's volleyball, field hockey and men's and women's soccer, and women's ice hockey have all started and men's ice hockey in the Pegula Arena starts up in a few weeks. This weekend's highlights include the the women's Ice hockey team and women soccer teams in action at home.  You can find upcoming games on our community calendar and on our Penn State Sports page. Let's Go State!

Horticulturee Show

The "Seasons of Horticulture" will be the theme of the 101st annual Penn State Horticulture Show this weekend. This annual event is hosted by students in Horticulture and Landscape Contracting and the free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday in the Snider Agricultural Arena. There will be landscape displays as well as food and plants for sale. (more info)

Apple Harvest Festival and Car Show

The Milesburg Museum and Historical Society Apple Harvest Festival & Car Show will be held this Saturday, September 27th on Market Street in Milesburg from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a luncheon stand, homemade baked goods, apple dumplings, crafts and demonstrations. (more info)
