15th Annual DownTown Fall Festival

The DownTown Fall Festival this Saturday (10am-3pm) is filled with fun for the whole family, from alpacas to pumpkins - there's so much to do!   Kids will love to decorate pumpkins and visit a variety of activity booths sponsored by various community organizations. Don't forget to stop in at the Community Resources Fair in the Municipal Building to see some of the amazing things we have available in the Centre Region.  Finish the day out by tasting some of the best desserts in Happy Valley.  Come down to Allen Street and join in the fun! The third annual Tussey Mountain OktoberFest will be an event unlike any other in Central Pennsylvania! bringing a few of your favorite parts of Germany's #1 Fall party, Oktoberfest, to Happy Valley... mainly the music, fun, food and beer! General admission is $15 at the gate ($10 advance).  Fiddlers, contests, games and John Stevens Doubleshot all providing entertainment on and around the stage.  4-9pm Saturday at Tussey Mountain. First Friday

The First Friday of each month will become a festive atmosphere in downtown State College beginning at 5pm. Patrons to the downtown can count on a mixture of art, music, monthly themes and activities, along with retail and restaurant discounts. Garage parking in the Pugh, Fraser and Beaver garages will be free with validations from participating merchants. (see events happening this Friday)
