Punkin' Chunkin' Festival

This year's festival at Bald Eagle State Park will be bigger and better than ever.  More than 10 teams will be launching pumpkins, some may fly over 1000 feet. Some teams have competed in the World Championships in Delaware. Also, there will be  8craft vendors, food vendors, live bands, hayrides, blacksmith and chainsaw carving demonstrations and much more. Pumpkins will be launched at targets floating in the lake! Free admission and parking. Saturday 10am-5pm. (more info)

Fall Harvest Festival

Come celebrate autumn with Shaver’s Creek at the Fall Harvest Festival! Enjoy great music and storytelling, fun nature activities, delicious local food for sale, and the ever-popular Children’s Halloween Trail.  The Fall Festival is free, Hallowen Trail is $5 for ages 4 and older.  This Saturday and Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm.  (more info)

Lady Lion Community Carnival

The Penn State Lady Lion basketball team will be hosting the Lady Lion Community Carnival this Sunday (10/19) from 3:30-5:30pm in the Bryce Jordan Center. The carnival is absolutely free and will provide entertainment for kids of all ages. Additionally, the Penn State All Sports Museum will be hosting its annual trick or treat event from 2:30-5 that day. (more info)
