Garden Fair & Plant Sale

The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Centre County are hosting a regional Garden Fair & Plant Sale this Saturda from 9am to 3pm at Ag Progress Days Site. The Garden Fair will feature many vendor booths, exhibits and demonstrations, gardening talks and a rain barrel workshop. The Pasto Ag Museum will be open for free tours. The Plant Sale will feature thousands of potted plants including perennials, annuals, herbs, houseplants, vegetables, noteworthy plants, pollinator and native plants, and others. Parking and admission are free. (more info)

There is also a Plant Sale at the Arboretum this Saturday and Sunday. (more info)

Big Spring Festival

The Big Spring Festival takes place this Sunday at Talleyrand Park and celebrates our bountiful supply of water with entertainment, water sports, crafts, fish stocking of Spring Creek and more. Activities will go on all afternoon courtesy of Kayaking Tussey Mountain Outfitters, Children’s Activities Sponsored By The Youth Service Bureau, Food Vendors will be on hand and Non Profit Group Activities & Fundraisers will be part of the day.
