Penn State Fall Sports

Penn State football is taking center stage this weekend when they open the season against Temple this Saturday in Philadelphia. (coverage here)  You can follow Penn State Football on all season, but don't forget about the other PSU fall sports.  Two-time defending national champion Women's volleyball, field hockey and men's and women's soccer have all started.  Check out top athletes and exciting games that the whole family can attend and enjoy.  You can find upcoming games on our community calendar, as well as, on our Penn State Sports page. First Friday September

Experience the cool vibe of downtown State College during September First Friday. A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining at the diverse and delectable State College restaurants. First Friday goers will experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music and entertainment, retail and restaurant specials, and more. THIS MONTH: Cliff Turner Band, Bluegrass Redemption, Free showing of Animal House at State Theatre and much more. (more info)

Penn State has a 39-game winning streak in the series that dates back to 1943.
