Nittany Antique Machinery Show

The 41st Annual Fall Show will take place all this weekend (dawn til dusk) starting Thursday, Sept. 10 at Penn's Cave. With literally tons of tractors on display and dozens of activities, there will be plenty to do for all!  Some activities include, antique tractors in operation, chainsaw carving, apple cider pressing, antique machinery in operation, food, live entertainment  and crafts! Aqua-Dog Day

For local dogs who love swimming pools and trees, this event is sure to please. Centre Region Parks and Recreation will again hold the “Aqua-Dog Day” event from 1-4 PM at Park Forest Pool this Sunday (9/13). For $5 per dog, humans of all ages can bring their dogs for a swim at the Park Forest Community Swimming Pool.  Only dogs will be allowed in the pools, and human admission is free. Proceeds from the event will fund tree plantings at the new Oak Hall Regional Park. (rules and more details)
