Obituary of Diane J. Pugliese, 64


Diane J. Tromm Pugliese, 64, of Bellefonte, formerly of Altoona went to be with her Lord and Savior, unexpectedly, on May 19, 2019 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.

Diane was born in Altoona, January 29, 1955 to the late Margaret E. Ashburn Tromm and Harold F. Tromm, Sr. Diane married Sebastian “Sam” Pugliese on March 4, 2008 in Altoona.

Surviving are her husband, three sisters: Patty (Tom) Graffious of Saxton, Lisa Tromm of Altoona and Pam Russell of Patton; two brothers: Fred (Clara) Tromm of Altoona and Ken (Sandy) Tromm of Bunker Hill, WV; two nieces, six nephews, six great nieces and five great nephews.

Diane was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was involved in the ARC of Blair County and Skills of Central PA.

She was an enthusiastic fan of Penn State football, attending many bowl games across the country, Altoona Curve baseball and Duke Blue Devils Basketball.

She had a special love for her family, a fondness for animals and was pleasant and kind to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 2417 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Altoona PA.
