Obituary of Emily D. Bowmaster, 33

Emily D. Bowmaster, 33, of rural Howard, surrounded by her family, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Emily was born on October 11, 1985, in College Twp., Centre Co., a daughter of James R. and Donna McKinley Bowmaster, Jr. who survive of rural Howard.

Emily was of the Protestant faith. Emily was a social butterfly, she enjoyed riding horses, attending the Grange Fair, and going to Sunny Days Adult Living Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Corey Bowmaster, Randy Bowmaster and Ryan Bowmaster, her niece, Adilyn, and her two nephews, Tyreece and Corbey. Emily is also survived by her paternal grandparents, James "Jim" and Mona Bowmaster of Bellefonte, her maternal grandparents, Barry and Joyce McKinley of Runville, and her maternal great-grandmother, Lois Fisher of Milesburg.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 5 - 8 P.M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11A.M. at the funeral home, with Pastor Douglas W. Mellott, officiating. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sunny Days Adult Living Center, 105 Stone Crest Dr., Suite 1, Bellefonte, PA 16823 or to The ARC of Centre County, 1840 N. Atherton St., State College, PA 16803, in memory of Emily D. Bowmaster.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg.
