Obituary of Jack L Hanna, 80


Jack L. Hanna, 80 of Orviston, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born on May 30, 1938 in Lock Haven, the son of the late Ner T. & Dorothy Brickley Hanna.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Malek McGonical who survives at home.

Jack graduated from Lock Haven High School class of 1956. He was an over the road truck driver for many trucking companies and served his country in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves for 8 years.

He was a member of the Howard Area Lions Club, the Wildcat Camp and was a little league coach for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Wade (Susan) Hanna of Howard, two daughters; Teal (Tiim Weaver) Hanna of Howard and Leslie (Kevin) Peters of Beech Creek, two sisters; Rita (Blair) Confer and Reberta (Richard) Weaver all of Howard, six grandchildren; Lane and Reed Hanna, Ashley and Brandon Deitz, and Colin and Ciarra Peters, five great-grandchildren; Tori Peters, Easton, Hayden, and Ryland Wallace and Sutton Granite.
