Obituary of L.Scott DeHaas, 65

L.Scott DeHaas, 65, of Eagleville, passed away on Thursday April 5, 2018 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

He was born on Nov.19, 1952 in Lock Haven, a son of the late Lewis J.and Esther J. Caldwell DeHaas.

Scott was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and received his B.S.degree in English from Lock Haven University. He enjoyed trips to various casinos and trying his luck at the Blackjack tables.

He is survived by his brother, Allen DeHaas of Eagleville, his cousin and caregiver Pearl " B.J. " Gardner also of Eagleville, and 3 nephews and 4 great nieces. He was preceded in death by a half brother, William G. Weaver.

Private services will be held at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard with Rev. Dr. Chris Davis officiating.

Burial will be at Blanchard Baptist Cemetery.
