Obituary of Margaret Jurinich, 67


Margaret A. Jurinich, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away suddenly on
Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Lyndonville High School.
Born on January 6, 1945, in Bellefonte, PA, she was the daughter of the late
Joseph R. and Ruby H. (Kucas) Jurinich.
Margaret graduated from Medina High School in 1962 and attended
S.U.N.Y Brockport, receiving her Degree in Teaching. She was a devoted
and dedicated teacher having taught in Lyndonville High School from 1988
to present. She had a special gift for working with the children that needed
her the most; she was always on the side of the underdog.
She is survived by one daughter, Agnes Christine (Robert) Sherry of
Watchung, NJ, four grandchildren, Sarah Ruby, Madeline Margaret, Jake
and Heather, all of Watchung, NJ. A best friend and companion, Donald C.
Lee of Niagara Falls and five honorary grandchildren. Margaret was a
beloved sister to Joseph (Shirley) Jurinich of Medina and Agnes Recco of
Lyndonville. Aunt Margie had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a loving mother, sister, fiend and devoted teacher, she will be
greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 10:00 am, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop St, Bellefonte with Father Mark Reid officiating. Committal will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Bellefonte, PA.

Scholarship Fund, 25 Housel Ave., Lyndonville, NY 14098.
