Obituary of Norma Lee (Vonada) Dorman, 79


Norma Lee Dorman, 79 of Mill Hall, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. She was born on February 10, 1949 to the late Dorothy and Henry Vonada.

Norma is survived by her husband, George M. Dorman, they were united in marriage on April 7, 1961. Also surviving is her son, Duane Dorman (Kathy) of Mill Hall, daughters; Deb Dorman of Austin, Tx., and Cindy Middleton (John) of Mill Hall, three grandchildren; Ian Dorman, Bradley Middleton and Amy Middleton.

Norma was a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School in 1958. She trained as a lab technician and worked at the Lock Haven Hospital before becoming involved in dairy farming. Norma was active in the community and served as a 4H leader, Girl Scout Leader and church organist. She enjoyed listening to piano and organ music and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Mill Hall. Norma also enjoyed reading, working with animals, watching birds and being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death along with her parents her brother Paul Vonada.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard with Pastor Karl Runser. Friends and family will be received 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral Home.
