Obituary of William J. Blesh, 72


William J. Blesh, 72 of Lamar, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at U.P.M.C Wiliamsport Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1945 to the late Dale W. & Leotta Greninger. He was united in marriage to Debra Johnson on December 16, 1988, she survives at home.

Bill had worked for Cerro Metals, and was currently employed by the Porter Twp. Water Authority, and Dotterer Farms. He was a graduate of Penns Valley High School.

Bill was a avid Penn State Wrestling, and Football fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his grandchilden.

Along with his wife he is survived by three sons; Andy (Debra) Blesh of Waterville, Eric (Melissa) Blesh of Loganton and step-son; Barry (Hillary) Detwiler Jr. of Philipsburg, one sister; Shirley Shaw of Georgia, nine grandchildren; Ava, Isabelle, Erica, Ella, Eve, Aubrey, Lilly, B'liahl, and Barry III. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill and Alex, and one sister; Patty.

Private graveside services will be at Zion Cemetery.
