Ramada Inn and Conference Center
StateCollege.com attended the recent charity auction at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center to benefit The Second Mile. The Second Mile provides hands-on support programs for at-risk youth. Founded in 1977, the State College-based organization was originally a home for foster children. Today, it serves more than 100,000 Pennsylvania children each year through nine outreach programs, three offices and eight volunteer chapters. All Second Mile programs are provided free of charge to participating children, families and schools. More information about The Second Mile and how to contribute can be found here.
