Phoebe is a special cat that needs a special person in her life.
She was born deaf and that means her forever family will need to be patient and give her plenty of time to adjust to her new surroundings.
Hearing impaired cats are known to bond very closely with people and Phoebe is no exception.
This black and white domestic shorthair has a striking black and white coat.
She’s about 5-years-old and her front paws have been declawed.
Phoebe does not do well with kids or other cats although she does get along with many dogs.
Phoebe’s foster mom says, “If she’s doing something she shouldn’t, and I walk up to her and tap her, she pays attention. She is smart, and she understands subtle taps.”
Phoebe lives at Centre Hall Pet Supply, located at 2780 Earlystown Rd #1, Centre Hall. You can see her there Tuesday through Friday.
From Saturday through Monday, you can meet Phoebe at Centre County PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd., State College.
