Ballot positions are set for the five candidates vying for three alumni-elected seats on the Penn State Board of Trustees.
The candidates, in the order -selected by random drawing – they will appear on the ballot are:
– Barbara L. Doran, a 1975 Liberal Arts graduate and senior portfolio manager at Lebenthal Asset Managementin New York
– Edward ‘Ted” B. Brown III, a 1968 Science graduate and president and CEO, KETCHConsulting. He resides in State College.
– Daniel N. Cocco, a 2008 Communications graduate and management consultant, Ernst & Young LLP. He resides in Hoboken, N.J.
– Lawrence M. Schultz, a 1980 Business graduate and attorney at law in Martinsburg, W. Va.
– William F. Oldsey, a 1976 Liberal Arts graduate and educational consultant. He is a retired executive vice president, McGraw-Hill Corporation and resides in Basking Ridge, N.J.
Doran, Brown and Oldsey are each incumbents seeking second terms on the board. Position statements and biographical information for each of the candidates are available here.
Ballots will be available to Penn State alumni beginning April 10. Alumni who requested and received nomination ballots will automatically receive election ballots. Those who didn’t participate in the nomination process but want an election ballot can request one at www.psu.edu/trustees/2016election/index.html. Online voting must be completed by 9 a.m. EDT on May 5.
