Beginning Monday, the new Turnberry housing development at the Circleville/Corl Farm site in Ferguson Township will have a contractor working on-site.

The work will affect the users of the Tudek/Circleville bike and pedestrian path that crosses that property, the site of the former Penn State Circleville Farm, between Farmstead Lane and Park Hills Avenue.

During the extended work period, the contractor is not permitted to close the use of the path, but there may be some delays while work is ongoing. There also will be many crossings of the path with construction equipment.

Users are reminded to observe all posted regulatory and work area signs along the path.

As part of the development of the property, a new street will cross the path which will require a section of the path to be rebuilt at the roadway. While this work is going on, the path will not be closed to users. A temporary path will be provided while the permanent path is being constructed.

Any questions can be directed toward township engineer Ron Seybert at 814-238-4651, Dept. 2, or via email at rseybert@twp.ferguson.pa.us.
