Flask, Plate Reported Stolen from State College Orthodox Church

An etched, gold-colored plate, a gold-colored flask and a tray of lasagna are among several items reported stolen last week from Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, State College police said.

The items were taken from the church, 119 S. Sparks St., sometime between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 6:45 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. Missing are a gold-colored flask of anoiting oil; a small, gold-colored plate that features etches Russian writing; a tray of lasagna; two silver-colored trays of cookies; and a silver-colored platter, police said.
