Mount Nittany Health will honor the area’s first responders with a Heroes Parade on Friday at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
The parade, part of Mount Nittany Health Week, will begin at noon. Police cars, fire trucks and ambulances will travel on Hospital Drive and go around the medical center before exiting.
Attendees are encouraged to bring signs showing support for police, fire and emergency personnel. Anyone attending should wear a mask and keep at least 6 feet distance from others. Anyone who enters onto medical center property is screened at their vehicle for potential COVID-19 exposure.
The parade also will be live streamed on Mount Nittany Health’s Facebook page.
