Rock band KISS returns to the Bryce Jordan Center on Aug. 30 as part of the group’s summer “Freedom to Rock Tour.”

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 15 at all Jordan Center ticket outlets, Ticketmaster and by phone at 800-745-3000. The Dead Daisies are scheduled to open the show.

KISS previously played the Jordan Center in 1997, 1998 and 2000.

Known for their signature face paint, theatrical live performances and pyrotechnics, KISS is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time. With 30 gold albums, the most of any American rock band, KISS has produced rock anthems such as “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City,” and the ballad “Beth.”

The Jordan Center stop is one of 35 on the “Freedom to Rock Tour,” which kicks off July 7 in Boise, Idaho and ends Sept. 10 in Huntington, W. Va. The band will also play in Erie on Aug. 27 and at the Allentown Fair on Sept. 1.
