The Penn State wrestling team won the NWCA Dual Championship on Sunday, erasing a 13-0 deficit to defeat Oklahoma State, 27-13, and finish the season undefeated for a second consecutive year.
On Monday, Nittany Lion football coach James Franklin and his staff congratulated Coach Cael Sanderson’s squad in style.
Franklin posted on Twitter a photo of himself and much of the football staff wearing Penn State wrestling singlets as they were seated around a conference table .

Prior to the showdown between the Nittany Lions and Cowboys, Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy tweeted a video in which he donned an orange Cowboy singlet and encouraged fans to come out for the dual at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

This is the second consecutive year Penn State defeated Oklahoma State in the Dual Championship. The Nittany Lions beat the Cowboys 29-18 in Rec Hall on Feb. 21, 2016.
Penn State’s last dual meet loss came on Feb. 15, 2015, when the Lions fell to the Cowboys 21-18 in Stillwater. Since then, Penn State is 31-0.
Next up for the Nittany Lion wrestling team is the Big Ten Championships, which start March 4 in Bloomington, Ind.
